I had a dream.

I had a dream that was like a music video to "For The Weekend." Needless to say it was pretty bad ass.

Like it starts off driving in a car in the back seat you see a guy and a girl. It's night time and they park off on the side of a country road and start to kiss. The head lights flicker and every other flicker you see The Union Suit turning on amps and setting mic stand height. Suddenly the music comes in and the camera zoomed in past the couple to TUS playing. Goes to various angles to where you see all the members of the band. You then see the guy get out of the car and head to his trunk where he takes out duct tape and rope. And walks slowly to the car and she looks at him and sees the materials. Then when it got to the "Don't be surprised when I tell you your not going home tonight." You see him jump into the car and from an angle behind the car you see TUS playing with the headlights still on them and the car shaking from him taping and tying the girl up. Where they play the heavy bit about half way through you see the car pull up to a trashy looking house. Once the singing comes back in you see the guy making some Mac N Cheese walking around eating it. (While he walks around you see TUS playing in various rooms that he walks past.) Then it cuts to the girl lying on the floor tied to a chair that she's knocked over. You see that she's been crying and her make up has run and her mouth the words to the crack under the door. "Untie these ropes and let me go." And cuts back to him where he mouths. "Your going nowhere this night has just begun we're gonna to have some fun you and I." Then during the music bit you see TUS playing and getting pretty into their music. The guy walks through them past them playing through their "stage area." (No one in the video notices them.) During the long instrumental bit you see him walk causally out to a shed and get some power tools and goes behind the door where the girl is. You see his back as he cuts her up and such then when it gets back to the vocals he stops and stares at his sliced up victim. Then you see police (The Union Suit are dressed as police.) bust into the basement and look at him as he drops the power tools and turns around and mouths to the police along with the song "She only wanted me for the weekend." (He obviously mouths the rest of the verse.) The police then begin to drag him out and he struggles and shouts at the door"Your not going home tonight" as he is carried out the door. As the last note is held out you see flashes of what happened and it goes back to The Union Suit in front of the car that has it's head lights on them and it shows them turn off their amps set their guitars on stands and walk away and then the lights of the car go off.

Needless to say I'd like you guys to film this, it'd be pretty bad ass. (As stated above.)

The fact that someone is dreaming about our song is a big compliment, so first off: thanks for that.

Second, you have a really vivid imagination and I think I see exactly what's in your head. Pretty well thought out. Very cool.

Thanks for taking the time to transcribe it all here. I'll forward it to the boys. I personally have never been much of a video guy, but you've made it sound like something fun to do. I wouldn't even begin to know where to start. But cory's really into film and whatnot, so it'd probably peak his interest.

I've played it over in my head several times, and forgot about it then it just kinda hit me in the dream and I was like. Awesome, if you guys do end up doing this any help you need I would be more then happy to provide.

Cory thought it was a pretty impressive idea - and it takes a lot to impress him. The only change, and we both agree, was that we don't wanna dress up like cops. 1- Our acting, even silent acting, would just be unbarable, and 2- we'd look ridiculous in police uniforms.

But yeah - there may be more to come on this, and you'll be heavily involved should we proceed.
